Well I had Doolz for about 2 months, and I was able to drive them in all conditions... So here's the low down. I will post my thoughts about Doolz and Single POP upgrades. Doolz: Obviosly these have the ability to flow more air than a single pop. I had the Doolz with Dual Apex'I filters. The car would idle fine and drive at low speeds with no problems at all. However, I did encounter quite a few problems. 1) After it would rain, water that had splashed off the ground, dripped through the cracks up the center panel, or just water that had blown around, would soak the filters. This would render it either extremely hard to get started and keep running or impossible. To get it to run 100% again, I would either have to wait 1-2 days for them to dry out completely or remove both of the filters and dry them off (but drying the MAF side would let the car run, it would drive like crap for about 30-40 minutes). 2) At speeds over 50mph, part throttle application would cause a stutter. I am talking very low throttle %, possibly 1-5%, the kind of gas you give it to cruise along (that is what made it VERY annoying) I attributed this to the turbulence caused on the MAF by the filters hanging so low into the flow of air from the fascia. 3) When approacing a stop sign I had to keep it in gear until I hit about 15-20mph (no more) or it would stumble and stall. (again, I attribute this to the turbulence caused by air flowing right at the filters, as this would not happen on a dyno or when the car was sitting) 4) The doolz felt pretty good power and spool wise, but after about 60-70mph, the car felt like it was falling off BIG TIME. I try putting some make shift shields(chalk bucket cut in half from my sisters house =P). This did nothing, after 60-70 it would lose what felt to be about 30-70HP. SO... I finally had enough and sold the POS's. Way to many problems for MAYBE 10rwhp. (and that is probably only on the dyno) I went back to a JWT POP charger about a week ago, the car doesn't stall when coasting to a light, stumble at part throttle, or fall off at 60mph +. The car feels exactly like it should. In conclusion, and from experience, I think that Doolz should be left to cars that have turbos that need them, and I would probably recommend JWT duals over DOOLZ anyways. I will admit that the DOOLZ are a better design, but it needs to be implemented better (maybe if the filters sat in a higher posistion) Sorry if I am shitting on anyones parade, but those are my personal findings.
